DEAR COLD WEATHER,

On the day this was written you were away. The weather was nice, warm and shiny, so warm it had most of us outside basking in its oh-so-sweet glory.

But then there is the fact that you are expected for like the next 3 months. As Kenyans, we would like to ask you to reconsider your stay with us, I mean since childhood we knew July was THE cold month. Then there is mostly sunshine (let’s not talk about your fraternal twin that is “Njaanuary” then some light showers.

All the same, we are preparing for you – with our clothes and our might………all our might!!!

Ladies & Gents

This is boots weather, the best are the kind with a woolen lining. The variety in boots will help with spicing up your wardrobe.

Stockings are another plus for with this weather. If your office isn’t strict on the dress code (hey bankers and Lawyers), feel free to mix up your dresses and skirts with some colored ones.

Pants!Pants! And more pants! These come through really handy when you are fighting this cold. Whether you are in your jeans, Khakis or official pants.

Scarves and gloves….. The weather is already dull but these can help to bring on the color to your outfit.

Socks these are the unsung heroes of the cold weather. The thicker the better.

The best way to stay warm is dress up in layers to keep you extra warm.
