How to clean the throne

We get it. Cleaning the toilet is not a chore anyone looks forward to. From pungent odours to stained bowls, this is a task most people dread, but it must be done. There are some hacks that will help you clean the loo easily and efficiently.

This month’s article is dedicated to some toilet cleaning hacks that will help with what you need to know. First off, you’ll need:
• Waterproof rubber gloves
• Scrub sponge
• Toilet cleaner like Atilla
• Toilet brush
• All-purpose disinfectant spray
• Cloth or towel
• Paper towels
Start by applying toilet cleaner such as Atilla to the bowl and allow it to soak for a few minutes.

If the toilet is extra dirty, give it a preliminary wipe-down with paper towels and toss them in the garbage can.

Next, use a scrub sponge to clean the exterior of the toilet. Pay attention to the base and floor around the toilet while you’re there. If your toilet has a quick-disconnect toilet seat, remove it and clean it separately.

For the the area underneath the rim where water pours out, now since this is out of sight, many people don’t scrub it. Don’t ignore this area, use your brush or sponge to clean the underside of the rim.

Now you can flush your toilet and let the fresh scent of Atilla fill your throne room.
