This month of love, we will be sharing the 5 languages of love to help you deeper understand your code of love and how you want to be loved. What’s even better share your results with a partner and get him/her to do the test.

Quality time

Nothing says “I love you” like full, undivided attention. Having the TV off, phone out of sight, work paused and all chores done makes this person feel truly special and loved. Perfect ways to gift this person would be a picnic date or romantic getaway.

Acts of Service

This person is happy when you do something to ease the burden of responsibilities weighing on them. The words he or she most wants to hear are: “Let me do that for you.” Adding work to them without lending a helping hand makes them feel like their feelings don’t matter. Gift ideas for this person include: taking their car for service, preparing breakfast, doing laundry or folding clothes among others.

Words of Affirmation

Actions don’t always speak louder than words for them. Unsolicited compliments like “I love you,” “I am proud of you” “I admire your generosity and drive” mean the world to them. A condescending, contemptuous attitude can leave them shattered and yet they do not easily forget. He/she will thrive on hearing kind and encouraging words that build them up.
